how to survive work: lesson #1: h/w

Can’t make this stuff up.

I took my half-hour break yesterday at work and walked to a nearby café.  It’s not really a café, more like a place that sells wraps and exotic fruit smoothies, but “café” makes it sound trendier so that’s what they call it.  Anyway, I ordered a hummus wrap and was sipping Dasani water when Tim walked in.

Bear in mind, I ( Read more... )

I wish my lunch breaks were as fun! Also, I like the abrupt change of subject at the end there. I don't know what f11 does, either, but I'm not going to try it now that you've put EXPLOSION in my mind. Gawd!

h/w ftw

Ha, usually my lunch breaks are MUCH less exciting. I may just have to start calling Tim every time I go on one. (He works at a store in the same strip mall where I do, which is why he was around. Small world!)

Maybe F11 is just some Microsoft thing that really DOES do nothing. Bill Gates thought it would be fun to mess with us. ;)

Lmfao. If only everyone watched the show that way...

F11 takes my window to fullscreen...

*tries F11 again*

Wow! Check that out! So it DOES have a purpose! Hee, one less mystery to solve, thanks. :D

AWESOME! I love when parents get it. Mine--while being intelligent and very giving, great parents--are extremely homophobic. They won't condemn you, but they get that "ew, icky" expression on their faces. It drives me insane. If only they knew who I shipped! That must be fun to have your mom see the slash, too.

...deleting the harddrive?!

*stops pressing immediately*

Um, thanks for stopping me before I killed the poor computer!

Urgh! I cannot convince anyone that House and Wilson have the potential to be a couple!

Mum and I were watching House today and I made an off-hand comment that H/W were in love with each other and mum and my sister just went, 'Um...don't be sick.'

Aw, you and me both. My parents would die if I even alluded to the chemistry between House and Wilson. I do have some reason to suspect that one of my sisters sees h/w; she ships Huddy though, and pretty fervently, so there's not much chance I could win her over to our side. ;)

Don't worry, though. S3 has set up Wilson for some big storylines in S4, there are way too many issues he has that still need confronting. And we all know House will be right there.

And until canon proves me wrong, I am holding tight to the anti-depressants' "it's personal" as code for "YOU'RE my problem House, I think I'm in love with you".

Ah, to have the writers confirm what we've all been saying for so long! *wistful eyes*

You made me feel so much better :)

And even though I think I was swayed a little by the 'It's personal' comment, I don't think there is any other explanation other than House being Wilson's problem.

Because we all know that no matter what is wrong with Wilson he gossips to House like a 16-year-old girl lol.

That conversation sounds awesome!

I told my friend Tiffany who is bi (we agree she's a 4 on the Kinsey scale, though) that I ship House and Wilson.

She's involved in other fandoms and watches Scrubs, but I talked her into watching some episodes.

I think the first episode she really saw with them was the one where House got Wilson flowers as Cuddy, or the one where he talked to wife #2.

Tiffany came back and went. "You're so right about House and Wilson. I think they're in LOVE."

Then we giggled and talked about slashy moments.

Yay for Tiffany! It's so great when friends get it. I love talking to everyone on lj about it, but Tim is the first person I've met in RL who I've talked to about it.

I'm sure you and Tiffany will have a lot of fun conversations ahead! :)
