There is so much about this I loved, but especially the little details like the cashews in the professor's beard and the guys robbing the cafeteria. And oh, also everything else!

I heart this. Everyone was perfectly characterized (Annie being stressed about a relaxation class is so spot-on) and I really enjoy your writing style.

Aww, thank you! I had to run with that little plot bunny prompt from the Xmas ep, when Annie mentions using her Xmas break to get all her reading done for her relaxation class. It was too perfect.

Jeff might not have made a huge overature to Annie, but I think he regularly does little things for her / because of her that show he cares. Even if he puts on the front of it being something else. He's just very, very careful not to look like he exerts too much effort or sincerity. And honestly, I love that. :)

Thank you! I know, wouldn't the reappearance of Vaughn be interesting? Maybe not for an entire season, but maybe a two- or three-ep story arc? Plus I miss his awful music. ;)

I loved this story! It was inventive, and getting everyone in it was like the cream cheese icing on the carrot cake. Yum!

I can't believe Vaughn came back looking like Jeff - for that I would totally buy Vaughn as much older than Annie, probably around Britta's age. Maybe. *goes off to look for Eric Olsen pics*

Wasn't it implied in S1 that Vaughn was much older? There was that whole Jeff-Britta as parents thing when she first started dating Vaughn. And in the commentary, I think Dan Harmon says something like one of the reasons they had Annie hook up with Vaughn was so the show could dirty her up a bit, make her less innocent so Jeff/Annie wouldn't strike a general audience as squicky.
