I've been doing good so far though I miss mum a lot. Still, I am more worried about dad. He feels lonely and depressed. He says he doesn't know how much the pain and emptiness in his heart will last. He fears how he will feel in December because December 20 was my parents' wedding anniversary. At least it will still be a little while till December

The school district down in San Antonio tried to do that to my niece, but my brother was able to get them to make an exception. She was born in early October and the cut-off date is August 31st.

Hope they will make an exception with Ai too. It would be unfair if they didn't.

Wow one week That very ridiculous. If she could manage fine in grade one, and it certainly sounds like she could!, one week doesn't matter. I hope you get that all sorted out.
