Medical school is tough, but not as tough as what people say it is. However, to make money, stick with business! The problem I think is that doctors lost hold of the 'value chain' way back when and other entities run their business for them to a certain extent. Unfortunately, the hours are long, the pay really is not as great as what people think it is, but it's all about what one feels called to do. It is definitely possible to be a female, minority, and be a great physician, but it takes a strong person to really go against the flow of things and wake up to realize what the next 50 years of life might hold.
