I'm sorry! ^^;; I'm going to make an LJ entry for Psychomachia, but it's really huge and complicated and I need to be able to do it justice. The short of it is, Brooklyn is from the city, Port Atlantis, and was on a case following Keith's crew (they're pirates). When she actually managed to track them down and confronted them, they sort of... erm, panicked, and kidnapped her. So now she's stuck staying with them out in the Rim (dead land).

Yeah, there's a lot of bigotry and such, so it's rather interesting to work with.
