Yeah, but apparently she was driving with a friend or her manager (different places say different things) and her friend/manager was driving, so it wasn't her fault. But there is some speculation that she wasn't wearing her seatbelt, since her friend/manager survived with only minor injuries. But it's still just really sad. =(

But I also thought it was good to hear that her friends from the entertainment circle came to visit despite all the awful intrusions they got from the media. I really hope they leave everyone alone, though.

Exactly. It's all about scandal and what will make them the most money. At least that's what it's really starting to seem like nowadays . . .

Yeah, and I've come not to really trust most of the news. I mean, if they sensationalize the happenings of non-celebrities, I can only imagine how much they embellish and/or alter the "facts" about the lives and happenings of celebrities. I don't think I'll ever forget that article in the paper about Sherry, and how they made it out that she killed herself. How they made the mother seem like a better person than she was. I just . . . I don't know. The media is very strange. I know it's their job, but I don't know why anyone would want to get into that line of work.
