Donato's artwork instead of the Australian photo manips. It's better due to the fact that it's nicer? OR does it capture the book better?

Yes, a bouch de noel is cake. Basically, it's a French Ho-Ho. XD It's a light sponge cake rolled up; it's usually decorated to look like a tree. They usually come with mushrooms made of meringue as well. ^^ Or at least that's what I remember from when my mom made it for her cake decorating class. When in doubt, Wikipedia it. Lol. Lol, yes. There are always "evil people insert here" rule. XD And yes, she (the main character) grows up. From what I remember of obernewtyn.net, he actual ages go from 14-ish to 20 over the course of 6 books. Check obernewtyn.net if you want to know for sure. ^^ Her Talent is rare, but it isn't a save-the-world power. It's not that she has a specific quality/item that qualifies her as the hero, she's just is. Kinda like how Frodo in the LotR movie gets the Ring by sheer happenstance ( ... )
