My suggestion is that you start an artist account (free) on deviantart.com where you'll probably get a lot of very valuable critiques from fellow artists :)
Well, I play architect. I have a lot of experience at it, but I am not a registered, licensed architect. Luckily, the laws in my part of the U.S. allow me to do some architectural work. By education, I actually have a Master of Urban Planning degree- which is kind of like landscape architecture on a grand scale.
As for your concern- don't worry. There are TONS of amateur artists on that website. It might be intimidating at first, but I guarantee there's at least one community on DA that welcomes new artists :)
I thought Urban Planning was a specialization you chose after/during architecture school, rather than a separate course, so you'd be a registered architect when you finish it. Either way it's awesome.
