Well, depending on whether you can read while on a moving train or not, you'll have the train ride there and back. Plus we should be in for the night at The Leaky Cauldron around 8 or so, I'd say. You can always study in your room, or, if your roommates are too loud, you could always try going downstairs to one of the sitting rooms.

So the short answer is - on the train and in the hotel at night.

Great! I'm a bit disappointed that we'll not have our wands to use and practice with, but of course theory itself can most definitely be just as important.
