Nadia had her gun and her mallet and a stern expression on her face as she started through the school, looking to recruit people to go and confront whatever had possessed Jamie.

It had been a long week, and it was time for all of this to stop.

Anakin, exhausted from the dance marathon, walked past Nadia. "Hey," he said with a small smile.

"Hey," Nadia paused. "Can you do more than just fling croissants with your mind?"

Anakin nodded. "What did you have in mind?"

"Something's up with Jamie. He's possessed or something. He's the one who's been pulling all the tricks. I'm trying to find people to go after him."

Walter was grim-faced and ready. Jamie was not getting away with torturing Nadia the way he had.

Yes, Jamie had tortured more people than just Nadia, but he tended to be rather single-minded about people who hurt those closest to him.

"We should talk to him first. I think I was too quick to hit him, last night."

Walter shook his head. "He was very convincing in this past week. He passed himself off as someone who cared. How will you be able to trust anything he says?"

"I know what to watch for, now."

"Uh oh."

"That look on your face." Pippi said. "Somebody's in for a hiney whuppin."

"Jamie. He's been behind everything this week. We're going to go get him."

Molly walked down the hall toward Nadia. She grinned at her until she noticed the other girl's expression and weapons. "What's going on, Nadia? Are we being attacked?"

"Not this time. You heard about the stuff that's been going on this week? Jamie's behind it. We're going to go find him."

"The pranks? That was Jamie?" Molly was dumbfounded. She'd told Dawn that Jamie wasn't cruel, but the prank on Alec could have killed him. "Can I come?"

"Or whatever is pretending to be Jamie. And yeah. We may need all the help we can get."

"I've seen that look on a person's face before," Pip said, leaning against a wall.

"Were they after their randomly evil roommate, too?"
