The weapons locker was a logical place to expect to find Nadia after their brief phone conversation.

"What happened to Jamie?" he asked without preamble.

"Chloroform. Apparently he got back from talking to Willow and found a flower and a card on my bed. Guess from who. He was in the middle of calling me when he must have gotten grabbed from behind. I found him on the floor with the handkerchief next to him."

Walter frowned. "Sloppy. I didn't think you- Sloane was that sloppy." Did he have accomplices?

Nadia caught the slip, but wasn't sure what to make of it. "I wouldn't have thought so either. But I'm not going to let him do anything else."
