I don't usually read oneshots... but you intruiged me. And I love it, so much.

I haven't read any stories where Ianto dies instead of Owen, and while *your tore my heart out* at killing poor Ianto I liked the dignity that went with it. Oh so very Ianto putting others before himself, making sure Jack stayed oblivious to his possibly painful death.

Wonderfully in character and a lovely concept.

I'm glad I stopped to read :)

Ahhh t'was a strange idea that hit me. But I'm glad it worked, even though it was very angsty. And I never thought Ianto would go with anything but dignity. He's just one of those blokes, eh? And I guess he wouldn't want Jack to know, as it would just make him more guilty.

I love the whole concept of this as it's fascinating to see how swapping characters situations around creates an entirely different story. :)

God that was Owen torture. Very emotional and wish his grief could be acknowledged as much as Jack's. It must have hurt so much for Ianto's last words to be for Jack instead of Owen. Very well written.

Oh I know. :( Poor baby; I felt so bad for him!
And I guess that's why I wrote it like that, a little acknowledgement that he has feelings too (despite being dead).
