Booklist 2006

In January last year I promised myself to read more books in 2006 than I'd done in 2004 and 2005 together. That is, more than 80 books. I failed to do that :( I read only 42 this year, which means I should have read at least 39 books more. I guess I'll have to make a more reasonable promise for 2007: to read 60 books. I should be able to make that

I can safely say that that's more books than I've read in the past five years (Volontairly at least), and certainly nothing to be disappointed in! If anything, be proud! I can't remember reading one book this past year that wasn't for school. (And way to few of those too...) There's just not enough time to do everything one has decided to do. Even if you don't meet the goals you've set up for yourself it's great having them, because they make you aware of what's important for you. I have so many things I want to do in and with my life, and I know that even if I only accomplish 10 per cent of them I'll be as happy as one possibly can be when I die. That's what goals are for; to make you try to achieve them! They're not the master plan, you are!

Aw, don't feel bad. You've had such a busy year, in many ways, and still you've read 42 books! I think I managed to read 4, or something. :P

Reading is always a good thing to do. But I don't think you should overact it. At last, reading means to enjoy it, too.

Hey, that's a lot of books! Don't feel bad. Reading shouldn't be a duty or a competition, and I think what you read is much more interesting than how much you read - and you read a lot of really different stuff. It's fun to see how many different things you've read! Go you! ^_^

And congratulations on getting Danne down there for your half-year anniversary. ♥

En bok du absolut MÅSTE läsa är "Hur kär får man bli?" av Katarina Von Bredow. Jag har precis läst ut den och den var såååå himla bra... Den är 300+ sidor lång och det tog mig mindre än en vecka att läsa den. Jag grät i delar. Jag ser fram emot att läsa hennes andra bok, det heter "Expert på att rödna" eller något.

Läs också "I taket lyser stjärnorna" av Johanna Thydell, den är jättebra med!!

Jag vill gärna läsa de Harry Potter-böckerna på svenska, och jag har inte ens läst den sjätte ALLS fast jag köpte den i USA när den gick ut. Jag vet inte, jag är mycket mindre "into" Harry Potter än jag var när jag gick i högstadietskolan, men det är ändå roligt att läsa dem på olika språk. (jag har böckerna på franska samt ryska.) Oj, det påminner mig om att jag borde väl köpa de britanniska versionerna eftesom de finns här, jag tycker att de är mer "sannfärdiga" än de amerikanska versionerna...

"Matilda" är en bok till jag gillar, jag läste den för jättelänge sedan på engelska, men i höstas läste jag den på svenska och gillade verkligen

Det är det, och jag antar att jag borde läsa Harry Potter på engelska, men just nu lånar jag bara böckerna från min kompis som har dem på svenska. Jag började läsa dem långt efter att de kom ut, så jag har den senaste boken kvar att läsa. En annan kompis till mig samlar på Harry Potter på olika språk. Det verkar kul ^^ Inte minst för de olika framsidorna. Jag tycker väldigt mycket om de svenska versionerna :)
