What the hell, Atlus? So no design by Kaneko Kazuma, and you turn it into some BLEACH wannbe? GOD that sucks.

I was really surprised when I saw the designs earlier today, but I actually like that guy's work (tho I havent seen him do anything other than Stella Deus) so I'm not too upset. Besides the fact that it is a different character designer probally just means the usual one is working on another project. Like when they get someone else to do FF designs instead of Nomura.

Oh, I like the guy's work normally. I really enjoyed the Stella Deus designs. But it's the overall art direction I'm just not meshing with. MegaTen is NOT bright and happy. That's what makes it interesting. It's detailed and stylish, not flat and hip. And yeah, he must have been busy with the designs for Devil Summoner: Kuzunoha Raidou.

I dunno, it didn't seem bright and happy to me. In fact I was thiking how much of an issue soccer moms and the like would have with some of the visuals...but then again they have problems with every video game ever...even tho they're the ones who buy them for their little twerps-_-
ANYWAY, I dunno, I like it from what I saw ^_^*

Sounds like Persona is getting the shaft in favor of the main series - my guess is Kaneko is working on the new SMT title. Still, way to buck twenty-something years of tradition, guys!

At any rate, his hand probably hurts from drawing like eight gazillion cyber nazis for Devil Summoner.

Yeah, I'm guessing Kuzunoha Raidou and Persona 3 were in development at the same time. ;_; Plus it looks like the systems have been dumbed down. What's with the Academic/Charm/Courage deal? At least it looks like the Personae can level up normally.

The gameplay better give me a blowjob to make up for the bizzare change in style. Granted it's not BAD, but it doesn't belong to Persona.

Gotta love that Megaten though.

That's a really classy intro for a video game atleast. Was never a big fan of Persona so can't say much for the previous in the series for comparison purposes.
