Does it bother anyone else when people refer to some day as the "three month anniversary" "six month anniversary", "14 month anniversary", etc

Every is something worth celebrating! That's what I say. I don't believe in the whole "anniversary" thing either unless it's the actual date.

i haven't celebrated anything anniversaryish in a while. i don't even know how you can specifically pinpoint the day when you abruptly switch status from friend to girlfriend/boyfriend because things like love happen gradually over a span of time, right?. boys in singapore tend to like to use that "WILL YOU BE MY GIRLFRIEND????" rubbish on a romantic night (after they've finished watching a movie for example) like as if they're proposing. i don't get it at all.

i had a group project member who had to leave a meeting early because she was meeting her boyfriend to "celebrate their 2 months" oooh that's sooooo important.
