I had one more go at a pairing... Faramir and Eowyn from LOTR. I adore them both, and really wanted more than we got in the movies.

On the other hand, I don't know that this worked awfully well, I'm not terribly good at blending pictures :( But they are beautiful in themselves...

Took a break from Experimental Scarf and did some crochet with fine shades-of-brown-and-gold crochet cotton (and some beads) around a metal washer, with the intent that it will become one of a pair of earrings. Hopefully I will be able to make the other one near-identical, if I don't run out of cotton or beads.

Last week and only now I'm getting tad dark with my art. usually it happens sooner with challenges xD

Anyway, this piece has blood in it, and I have tagged it as self-harm and gore and whatnot. That's not actually what I meant it ad mean that that's the way it should be interpreted - I'm just being courteous to people who want to block and blacklist stuff.

So yep, that's my heads up.

Ah...this is very expressive. Not shocking, no, just...it makes you think. Life can prepare Things for us - and this is possibly one on them.

Ouch, dark indeed... but a perfect example of less being more, the subtlety and muted feel, except for that soft, slow, painful line of red, makes it more powerful.
