Smooch got some weird bloodwork back yesterday, and we are waiting on new bloodwork to learn more.  idney disease, hyperthyroid disease, and cancer were all mentioned.  They're testing thyroid and kidney stuff now.   I should have the results early next week.  But, basically, it's pretty likely to be bad news

If it's his kidneys, I can go over the routine we've used to keep Zuul going strong for 2.5 years.

Hoping it's treatable and affordable. Renal failure can be dealt with, often with a good quality of life.

I do know several kidney cats that did/are doing okay with support. Hopefully, if it's that, it will work out and we will be able to afford it. I HATE being poor.
