Still wrestling with the fucking Patreon pitch, which sucks because I need to fucking launch so I can start bringing in some money. I'm doing more than enough pony work to support it, so I'm going to make that the focus. Still haven't decided whether to stay with a monthly donation

I strongly suggest going for the monthly vs. per-item -- the artists I support seem to be doing well on the monthly model, and it takes off that sickening pressure to PRODUCE that a per-item plan can have, when you're running on fumes and need a break.

Come to think of it...the idea of a pony wearing a human skin-suit like some sort of anti-furry is all kinds of f'ed up! [although possibly an idea for a Halloween/horror themed pony.]
Suggestion on the patron thing, how about both models? Per month subscription with the option to chuck in some more on a per project basis, [either for those of us who can't afford a monthly subscription or as an extra for the already subscribed who really like a particular project.] Dunno if that would work in the framework you're using...
