Dear Everyone: I am copy-editing this book, and it's SO FUCKING GOOD, YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW.

Seriously. Yum. I was weaned on Michael Moorcock and Tanith Lee, and the combination of over-the-top Gothic architecture, a frozen land with an undead Emperor, and hot, hot kinky sex is basically everything I've ever wanted in a vampire book.

You want to read this, trust me. I'm dying for more already!

*laughs* Yeah, she's either got it or she doesn't, depending on the book/story -- but when she's got it, she's got me by the neck. Love love love so much of her stuff. And a few books leave me completely cold, for whatever reason -- but I admire her dedication to writing what inspires her, cross-genre and varied, even if some of it isn't to my taste.

And when it is . . . there's a page that my copy of "Dark Dance" falls open to, at this point. *shivers* She really pushed my buttons with that one!
