On a completely unrelated note, you used to do Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab reviews, right? I think I remember you talking about the joy of using your sense of smell, and how fun it was to learn to distinguish individual scents among the mix. So, about three years ago I bought a small bottle of perfume in a little shop with a handwritten character in another language on label, which has faded so that I can no longer read it. It was the last bottle and the shop went out of business shortly thereafter. I became my favorite perfume, and I have been sparing with it, but I am running low. If I can figure out what all is in it, I can probably reproduce it, but my efforts so far have failed. I think I must be missing an ingredient. :/ I know this is a long shot but I was wondering, do you offer perfume analysis services? Or do you know of anyone who does?
I would totally take this on, but the drugs I'm on have made my sense of smell . . . spotty. I can smell some things just fine, but other things apparently are hit and miss. I don't know how much help I'd be. My recommendation would be to hit one of the BPAL communities that also allows general chatter, like sinandsalvation, and see if you can find someone whose nose is a little more reliable. I'm willing to bet you can find someone who could/would do it.
Failing that, I can put a call out on my f-list. It's a fun kind of project, and I bet you'd get takers.
