Arrrgh.

I have a doctor's appointment to discuss my bloodwork next Tuesday.

I have not given the blood for the bloodwork yet BECAUSE I FORGOT LIKE A MORON and now it will probably not be ready in time. Maybe I can get them to do the CBC w/diff posthaste, so I will at least be able to tell if I am anemic yet from all of this BLEEDINGI will go ( Read more... )

It's not him I'm worried about, he's a really good guy. It's the lab, and I know they're crunched right now. He can't work around numbers he doesn't have.

If you do the fast tonight and draw 1st thing in the morning, the lab will have plenty of time to fax results to the doc. It only takes the lab a couple days to turn around and they'll be open 24/7.

Gee, I knew working for clinical lab would come in handy one of these days.

Oh, good.

I can't get in until tomorrow afternoon, but I have never had a CBC take more than a day, even with the differential.

The thyroid battery usually takes 4/5 days (in my experience). Hopefully they can get it done faster. This lab/hospital is faster than the other one was by a good margin.

Get the blood work today, there should still be enough time. Most blood work has a short turn around time except for cultures. No reason they can't have it ready before tuesday!
