In the same magazine as my beloved HPL! Too cool. I have often likened our collective efforts to escape from the captivity of our childhood to a fox in a trap that chews off its own leg to escape. And the stuff about the hair is true- you SO were covered with it, like a tarantula. And you forgot whiny.

Hahaha! See? Confirmation! I was so mad when Mom told me about the hair, then told me she didn't have PICTURES OF IT. I thought it was, like, the coolest thing EVER.

I should have put "whimpered and whined a lot" on there. Along with "I've grown up to be a total bitch."

That would be my earnest hope, yes! Except . . . I don't write short fiction. Like, I've written maybe five short stories ever. Heh. Maybe time to work on that.

I have now written one and a half short stories. I've never been able to do it. These ones only work because I know how these go. I know what my premise is, what basically happens, and how I twist the ending just enough to make them feel over. Of course they're both PORN...
