Pain IS pain.

*HUG*

I've actually watched A Knight's Tale like four or five times since he died. It's one of the movies that I have in constant rotation, something playing while I make things that I can look up at for my favorite moments. Of course, as with a couple of other movies, they are ALL my favorite moments.

It's REALLY hard to pick a favorite moment in that movie. I don't know if it succeeded in being poetic where it was trying for poetic, but it always ran up and rang the bell when it was trying to be funny.

There are a handful of other movies like that for me. Big Trouble In Little China comes to mind. The Mask of Zorro. Movies where it's always "Oh, THIS PART!"

your paragraph on his laugh is absolutely beautiful. I'm sorry you're hurting. He is this generation's River Pheonix, I think. River tore us apart back in the day.

Much love.

I remember that. I was about sixteen, and I was very sad about River's death. I heard about it at school. He was SO incredibly beautiful, and he had identifiable talent, too. Very sad that he didn't get more time to grow.

I watched Knight's Tale on Monday, and followed it up with 10 things I hate about you (which I had never actually seen before)..I was fine, a few tears here and there throughout KT, and then in 10 things, when he's singing "Can't take my eyes off of you" in the bleachers, I just lost it.

He was a singular talent. *hug*

Yeah, that's one of those parts that's insanely touching and funny when, you know, you're watching it and he's not dead.

Now, I don't know if I could stand to go back and watch it. I loved him most when he was being goofy and a bit of a mess.
