fabulous as ever! I love how your grey tones never swallow the linework, wish I could do that!

I did want to warn all HP fans on LJ, that LJ is now 'clarifying' it's position on fanfic with underage characters, which means it's no longer allowed, call it Strikethrough 2, conicidentally timed with the release of the last HP book. You can check the debate on lj_biz, but people are trolling comments with HD spoilers.

Thanks! I think I probably have an advantage since I'm using many transparent layers in Photoshop, rather than graphite on paper, but when I did do graphite, I used different drawing pencils to get black and gray. And if I remember right, the real strong blacks took a bit of effort. ;-)

i love that you made "O" Obsession. That's the best part of HBP ;) and that scene is one of my favorites in canon, made my Draco-love cry out.

Off-topic, I just wanted to tell you that Checkmate was one of the first fics I read years ago, and definitely a major reason I began reading Harry/Draco, which is now my OTP. Thank you for such an amazing story. It's hard to believe that one person can be so gifted with both words and art.

That scene is one of my favorites too - I knew I had to include it somewhere - and O was perfect. ;-) We all know how obsessed Harry got with Draco in HBP - more than with Quidditch even. *grin* And that's canon. :D

Oh, thank you! That just made my night. *grin* I'm always very pleased to know I spread the H/D love along. ^.^ *blushes* Thank you - writing and drawing, I've learned, use different sides of the brain - and I find that I go through periods where I can draw much better than I can write, and then it will switch on me, and writing comes a lot easier for a while. I'm in an art phase now, it would seem. ;-)
