This was my submission for this year's H/D Art Fest on hd_fanart. Posting this makes me a little sad. This is/was the last H/D fest I will be participating in. Maybe not EVER - I hate absolutes, and who knows what will be going on a year or two from now... - but for the forseeable future, I don't plan to sign up for any more after this. Saying goodbye to

beautiful use of colour in this - it feels like a magic realm. the gradient applied to text is a small thing that adds a lot of beauty. I love the way you've entwined them in magic, like energy-tattoos, very cool.

Thank you so much, hon!! ^.^ I went a bit crazy with that gradient - it's on all kinds of things, not just the text, but I just fell in love with the color combination. :D Ooh - I love the description "energy-tattos" - I meant it to look like magic from the spell they are doing, so I'm happy that came across.

Gawd that's pretty! Yes, the background is enchanting and that project looked like a lot of work! Sorry you are leaving the fandom, but life happens and makes us do things we do not want to do, and sometimes we burn out. Hugs.

Thank you so much!! ^.^ I really loved painting this - so it didn't seem like a lot of work at all. :) I'm sure I'll be around fandom for a while yet - there are things I want to finish, and I'll be around to read and comment some even after those are done. I still love the fandom, it's just taking up too much time, and I have TONS of other things I want to do. So I pretty much have to make myself go or those things won't happen. *hugs back*
