Another Psyperiment

Hello readers,

My friend Berry is looking for another few participants, and writes:

"If you have 10-15 minutes to spare and would like to take part in a new questionnaire that we're developing we'd be very grateful. Do pass it on too to anyone you know who may help us out by doing it:

There's an extra " at the end which is causing a page not found. Removing it and all is fine

Just had a go myself. It was interesting for me to see what effects different kinds of scenario have on me, and how what I would like to think I'd do is likely not what I'd do...

Indeed. I know that I'm very bad when it comes to the whole sunk-cost fallacy idea and don't often make the most logical choices. Something to work on in the future, I suppose....

Done. Though, as ever, I found myself wanting a text box after each question so I could explain my seemingly-contradictory answers. :-)

Yeah, I had the same experience...

Me too. I thought it was interesting that for some questions they stressed the equal (or unequal) worth/excellence of the options, but on some, they didn't...

That may be to do with different conditions that they are testing. I shall ask.

I did it, but that was 20 minutes of my life I won't get back ;-)

Maybe you're just too diligent.

Done.

I was sort of expecting the last question to be something like:

"You're asked to fill out an economics / psychology questionnaire for a friend of a friend. You haven't actually told anyone you'd do it and nobody would probably think the less of you if you didn't do it. After 70% of the questions, you come to the conclusion that many of the questions are very similar, and that to finish the questionnaire will take another ten minutes or so of not much fun. Do you continue to the end?"

No kidding. I will forward that bit of feedback (anonymously, of course) to Berry - if you don't mind.
