Well, blow me down. Just as I thought I would never get anywhere with my icons - I'm still struggling with the little critters - I have come 3rd in the Austen_stills comp. CANNOT believe it, really can't.

Here is my stinker for the first icon challenge I entered at Period_stills

noone, you really shouldn't call such fabulous icons 'stinkers', you might hurt their feelings! Lovely new batch and Congratulations on the Austen Still wins...lovely cap and cropped very imaginatively, luscious colours and I especially like how the 'h' in 'Catch' follows the curve of Cathy's back!

Your other icons are just as pretty, with fresh colours crisp images and lovely composition & effects. Well done!

You've been busy, girl! :) What lovely, lovely icons! Love the dramatic quality of the first two and the Molieres. The 'finish it' on the Fountain one was a very good choice of text.

Congratulations on your third place! The Austen icons are so playful and humorous. With lovely colours, too. And I agree with Cerise, the h in 'catch' follows Cathy's form beautifully. Very clever. :)
