Steve and Natalie icons

My past is coming to haunt me - in a good way, I hope. :) I wanted to grow up to be Natalie Wood, she's the ultimate pretty girl IMHO, and when I first saw her sing a song about her prettiness in West Side Story her fate was sealed as my personal goal. Failed, obviously - but I love her.

I also love blond men, occasionally (JJ - Kls). I'm much more ( Read more... )

You've been very busy! lol So many beautiful icons! :D I like your use of color with black-and-white images and the retro look with the fonts and sparkles.

BTW, I love your header with the "distorted" period men! lol

Thank you, though really, it seemed like I was competing against just two other people. *shrugs*

Congratulations on your third place from austen_stills! :D

You want comments? Impossible! I'm speechless because they are so beautiful!

I'm afraid I've never seen either of the films but these make me wish I had. *off to rent* Very sizzling chemistry in the kiss croppings. :) I love them all, but the orange kiss and the ones with a hint of turquoise are my favourites. Some of these are very sensual and some deliciously bubble gum, but they are all equally gorgeous!

Thanks Ima,

Proper Stranger is a truly wonderful film but it's not available on DVD right now - shame. The Thomas Crown Affair original is pure 1960s glamour and very stylish in a retro way.

I'm glad you caught the sensuality - that's what I was going for. :)

noone - she was so beautiful and you've captured it so well with these icons. Lovely cropping and effects used...I especially like how you've kept most of them black & white and added colour through light effects and colour blocks.
Have a cheeky question though...what is the font called in the "Love" icons? I covet it at the moment :)

Thanks Cerise :),

The font I used is called fontdinerdotcom Sparkly and I found it here -

It's perfect for that 50's look isn't it?
