Holy crap now I want rice and chicken oh my god I'm so hungry XD
Rice is amazing <3 I'm incapable of making anything other than boil-in-bag though, so that's kind of shameful XD

Ahaha, sorry for perhaps making you more hungry. Boil-in-bag ?? Is that like instant rice?

Yeah, kind of. It's a small plastic bag of rice that you just toss into a big enough pot with water in it, there's no measuring or timing involved and it's impossible to burn XD It doesn't taste as good as proper rice but it's so easy to make >___>

Welp, I meant hungrier. Gosh, my english...

I didn't know instant rice exists in this world! I've never seen it before. Sounds practical! But, lol, yeah, perhaps no one would buy it here, because most people own rice cookers.

Hello! Those two are my favorites too, especially Nasi Goreng. Especially hot and spicy Nasi Goreng with seafood on the side, ahaha.

Mmm, Nasi Lemak and Nasi Goreng are the best~~ Although I have to add Nasi Ayam as well. Nasi Kuning is usually a staple at weddings too. Oh no, now you went and made me hungry for nasi >_< Thank goodness it's near the end of office hours!

Nasi Goreng is my favorite! Especially if my mom cooks it :3

Yeah! Nasi Kuning is usually used at big events or celebrations, and we usually call it Tumpeng. Is it the same in Malaysia? :D

Ahaha, sorry. Go eat!

There's a lot of variation of the kind of nasi we use for weddings. The yellow nasi cooked with oil is called nasi minyak, but if it's more on the red tint due to tomatoes we call it nasi tomato/merah. But usually nasi minyak la, when we're teasing people about their impending marriage usually we'll say, "Bila nak jemput makan nasi minyak?"

Mom's cooking is the best! My mom makes kickass nasi ayam, even better than the ones in hawker stalls! And I've already ate nasi garlic for dinner, so no need to apologize. Hell, no need to apologize for posting food pics, full stop ;)

Btw, the CCN header is lovely! Kudos to you, how could they possibly not choose your design ♥

Haha, that's a good teasing! I think we have something like that too. "Kapan tumpengannya?" But it's not specifically for weddings.

Ahaha, good then. Nasi garlic, yum!

Thank youuu! <33 Kinda made me feel justified for my photoshop addiction XD

If I ever meet instant rice I'll photograph it as evidence, seriously I never know that exists before.

Ahaha, here we'll eat rice with anything. As long as there's rice so be it.

Yeah, actually too much carb and glucose won't do us good either, haha.
