Avengers
I watched Iron Man 1 and 2 on Sunday - wow, in the rush of "OMG! Clint/Natasha 4ever!" I forgot how much I ship Happy/Natale. That whole bit in the car, then his insistence on helping with the attack... he's like a puppy who just wants her to love him.

Stargate
So right around Christmas I started watching Stargate: SG1; I am now halfway ( Read more... )

to the SG1 -

+ mostly because even Dreyak thinks Teal'c is a traitor. And with the amount of love he's getting outside the SCG (aka NONE), there's no place for them on Earth.

But, it also makes for various Teal'c episodes. ;)

Who's Dreyak?

I'm not saying that they should try to buy a house in the 'burbs, but Teal'c is obviously living on-base why not move his family there?

I spelled her name wrong.. it's Drey'auc -- she's Teal's wife.

The only people who want Teal'c there (on base) are Hammond and SG-1. There was a discussion about having the family there (can't remember which episode) but it got a swift 'Hell no' from the higher ups. He's effectively a prisoner of Cheyenne Mountain until the episode with Erica.

So, I haven't re-watched Stargate in a while, and I remember the episode, but also, just being kind of okay with it at the time, even if it is a bit weird. I don't have anything really specific to add to that particular episode; however, I would caution you: The Teal'c family/relationship-realted stuff? Maybe be a little bit flexible with your continuity/imposition of logic there. I don't think there's ever actual discontinuity, but there were a few things that, when taken in the context of an overall story arc, made me scratch my head.

(Haven't actually finished all ten seasons, but I'm midway through eight, SO)
