better than that...wynonaAugust 10 2007, 20:18:46 UTC
You can have the moon on your desktop - or any other planet of your choosing. OSX Planet is free. You can turn on the clouds and watch storms and cool stuff, or just have the moon show on your desktop!
Not that you asked, and not that this has anything to do with moon phases (although, those are interesting, too), I wanted to say that I like your journal. Your layout is pretty, your icons are cool, and your interests are original - "not volunteering" is my favorite.
"Not volunteering" is an interest a friend taught me to have. She and I were the only people who had it listed- I put it there on her suggestion after getting fed up with being bogged down in politics and gossip whilst working in groups that could have done a lot of good. She passed away last year, unfortunately, so I'll never take that interest off of my list.
Curious- what path did you follow to wander over to my journal? Don't mind, just like to know. :)
I honestly thought that I had answered you. I'm sorry. Evidently, half of my brain cells have run away from home and didn't leave a note.
I have listed on my LJ interests "Standing Naked in the Serengeti" for a similar reason. My friend, Dorothy used that saying to describe not hiding anything from someone else. She died of cancer two years ago. I miss her more than I can explain, but I'm sure you understand.
I orignially thought that I had traced you from my friend Redwink, but I was mistaken. I found you via mostcurious.

Mostcurious is a wonderful person, is she not?

I do, and I'm sorry for your loss.
While I'm not really adding new friends right now, please feel free to "visit" and comment whenever. It would give me a chance to get to know you better, which I would like to do.
Hey. I have a plan for how to use my power, but I wanted a contingency plan if it doesn't work out, because it requires people agreeing to it. If I can't get this to work out, how would you feel about doing the one on one match with me? I'm trying to pick someone big enough to play it fairly and also who seems to be about where I am in the votes. I asked spydielives first, but she was uncomfortable with it. What do you think? I'd only do it if you agreed to it, and only if my original idea doesn't work out.
It's all good- my first plan worked out. My thought was to have the two of us go the old-fashioned showdown route if this didn't work out, but it did. I thought you were probably the MOST fair person to go against, given how we rank on each other. I'm glad it doesn't need to come to that, though. I want to be in and I want you to be in.

This one wouldn't display the moon's image for me on LJ. :( Now, I can replace it with something better. :)
