That must be SO FRUSTRATING ~ I can't imagine doing this.
The place I work now doesn't do 'walk-in' applications, at all.
Everything is done online.
Personally ~ I just don't think it is fair.
Hope you can find something ~ I know, I've said it before, but I still mean it!!!
