SO ready for some home time. But Black Friday's not too far off, and all the shippers want their merchandise in stores before then. So I'm suddenly running my arse off, to the point where I'm in danger of not having enough legal operating hours available to make runs.

It gets complicated.

The Cliffs Notes version:

I can't legally drive for more than 11 cumulative hours in a 14-consecutive-hour period unless I've had at least 10 consecutive hours off duty immediately before driving. Further, I can't be on duty for more than 70 cumulative hours in any eight consecutive-day period unless I have been off duty for at least 34 consecutive hours prior to going on duty.

Be careful what you wish for... I distinctly remember someone saying to me "after graduation, they can run my legs off..." Sounds like the planning department needs to pay a bit more attention to the clock on the wall.
