Personally, I prefer hangover prevention; not drinking on a empty stomach, drinking plenty of water afterwards or before bed, not mixing up my drinks (beer before liquor, never sicker - liquor then beer, you're in the clear). But if you must go overboard without planning ahead, just take a couple painkillers in the morning and look forward to feeling like your brain is unraveling like a ball of yarn.
Once I got SO sick having beer first haha. I threw up so bad, and felt like hell in the morning. First and only hangover...so I've got a good record going.
