You know when someone asks you a question and you want to say the furthest thing from the truth? Just so you don't sound stupid. Just for a little glimpse of acceptance and acknowledgment. I guess we come across situations like this almost everyday. To be completely honest I used to cross paths with this exact thing at least three times a week. ( Read more... )

I went through different phases where I went through different mindsets...And ever since I fell in love with this guy Mike, I feel like I want to save myself for him. He's still a virgin too- for the same reason. He's done pretty much everything BUT sex, because he was waiting for the girl he really loved. So it's pretty amazing when two people share something like that.

When I was younger I used to feel like such a prude when I would hear my friends talk about having sex and everything, but now I couldn't be more proud that I waited for the guy I'm going to marry.

Good looking out <3

I think it is respectable to wait until marriage. I do not know anyone who ever has. It was not for me but I respect the choice and sticking to it.

i look at it this way: i'd rather be the geeky prude who appreciates her husband more because she waited than the girl who's turned inside out from giving her heart away too many times

I'm not sure if more young peope are having sex now than in past generations - it is hard to gather scientific evidence. What is clear though, is that we live in a more sexulaized world than in previous generations. An American columnist lamented last Halloween that even the girls costumes in the stores were virtually all sexually suggestive (consider the age of the average trick-or-treater). Movies, Television, Advertising ... ADVERTISING. It is all sexed up. Here in Germany, topless women advertise for laundry detergent (saw that one yesterday) and margerine. Regardless of what is really going on, I believe that there is a lot more talking about it than in previous generations. And that is I think what puts so much pressure on so many.

Would you have sex with a girl?
Seriously.
There is no penetration right? So technically it isn't sex... but it is intimate.
Just curious.

Hi... just a thought - something to think about - why is it not sex if there's no penetration.

And what about fingers, tongues...

What about oral sex with a boy - penetration of the mouth - is that penetration?

in my opinion all of it is sex, so i was surprised to read what you wrote - i'd be interested to know where you got your definition from, if you feel like telling me :)

omg I'm so proud of you. I'm trying to stay away from sex for as long as I can. I don't even know what people find some enjoyable about it. I don't understand why everything in today's world is 'sex, sex, sex,SEX'. I hate it so much. I regret sleeping with the first guy that I did and junk. I wish I could go back in time, but I can't so I have to live with it, right? I wish I knew you in person. I'd stick up for you completely. :)
