Haven't seen Being Human, but "yep yep" to all bullet points either way! And it's really tough when it's not (only) the fans who want to resurrect a character, but it's yourself. :P Keeping the favorites dead can be oh so difficult.
I try my best to stick to my own rules (the only reason I actually brought Terry back rather than his OWBC being an afterlife thing was because I needed Kimmy back to get the sim we have now come to know as Briney, so I might as well have done).
Being Human's pretty cool, but then I do like that kind of dark and supernatural programme :P
'Being Human' doesn't sound like something I would watch, but just listening about that character makes me hope he gets killed off!
-About the character remaining dead... normally I would say yes, but this is sims with handy dandy resurrecting powers lol. >cough< Am not of course planning on killing and bringing a character back. >cough<
Aww, but he was so attractive and had a hot irish accent! ;)
I think the resurrecting thing might be okay if you planned to resurrect them from the start and it's building to something, and so long as the death wasn't just meant to be for shock value. 'Cause that's the kind of thing soap operas do - 'ZOMG so-and-so's dead! Wait, the writers have run out of ideas... ZOMG it was all just a dream or whatever!'
I mean I myself brought back Juan and Zack (though they aren't/weren't main characters and it was mostly for the BC, so...) and Terry and Kimmy, but that was because I had actual plans for them and if I hadn't felt like I had to bring Kimmy back, I wouldn't have brought back Terry either and just done the OWBC and apocalypse as an afterlife thing. But we needed Briney... Lol, excuses, excuses...
Haha mine is totally like a cross between soap opera/slap stick/kids carton network. ^_^ Well it was alluded too last chapter, but I'm sure it will seem like left field when I do it...but then I like left field. There is a reason for the death, but you know not to take anything of mine too seriously right?
