Uni has to come first, but I totally get the writing/staging feels like being productive and it is if there isn't something more important that needs attention. My house so needs de-cluttering but how often do I actually get stuck into it? My health problems put me off as it's so much easier for me to sit here after I've done the must have's such as- clean laundry. Because I know it will give me pain in my back and legs to sit on the floor and sort stuff-even standing too long gives me pain
( ... )
My mum wishes she had that excuse for not decluttering the house - she finds other reasons *shifty* *hug for health problems*
O.O Those are a lot of files. Aren't there programmes you can download that sense conflicts or whatever in CC? Given that you tend to be the one to tell me about these things, I guess you've already tried that though. Good luck with it anyway!
It's understandable, it just takes sooo much longer... *hmm*
Oh Jo, I wouldn't think you've ever offended people with your writing (unless they're extremely easily offended, in which case we could all do that) and it's never bad. My problem is more when I'm tired and then I can't force my brain to turn my feelings into words that make sense, so I leave it until later and then it builds up and blargh. But I will get to it!
Well CI is helping me determine which files are elder male, toddler, teen ext, but it's a long slow process. I look at the names and click on each one in turn and see what CI says. I tried halving my clothes folder and both sides crashed it. :( Which makes me think it's a set of clothes from some particular download and not just a single item. The wardrobe wrangler won't work on my computer. Unless there is something else that would help. Really I should have been better organized. If all my elder male had gone into an elder male folder this would have been easy. Dumping clothes into a 'clothes' folder when I had 4,000 files wasn't the smartest thing ever.
Lesson boys and girls- keep your cc very organized.
Ahh well I'm a general worrier ask my dh lol. Plus no offence to American's but they seem way more PC then us. Maybe if I ever do get flamed I'll hide under my Aussie flag and plead that I'm a 'red neck'. ^_^
This is why I've been avoiding getting too much CC *shifty* Still, your game looks so pretty with it *recalls all the swimsuits from the BC*
We tend to be pretty PC over here too - incuding me because I always worry about people being offended, but I always try to bear in mind context and intention and most of the time people deserve the benefit of the doubt anyway. You've never offended me, but we know you're nice anyway ^_^
Take all the time you need for your schoolwork and family. Real life is important, and we'll be happy to see you when you get back. :)
I don't think you owe me any comments, but if you do, don't worry about it. I think comments are nice at any time, and they don't have to be elaborate to make me feel good. I bet a lot of other authors would agree with me.
Good luck, feel better, and we'll be happy to see you whenever! *hugs*
Hmmm, I expect there are things I haven't commented on, as well as other people's legacies I should have read but haven't... I wish I had Briney's time-freezing powers, I would be the most awesome commenter ever *nods*
I was exactly the same with sims in my final year (I wasn't playing in second year), I had 7 months off from updating so I know how you feel.
Concentrate on uni, sim as a break if you want, and don't stop with the simspiration, it's one of my favourite things to read before work in the mornings!
Good luck with the essays and exams, and we'll see you when you get back. *hugs*
^_^ Thank you. Though with my chaptered plot not going anywhere I'm not sure how much simpiration I can write without either going over the same ground or getting into seriously spoileriffic stuff *eyes some pieces I've written but not put up*
I don't know whether, if there were a grim reaper, I'd want it to be cute, or whether that would be a little disturbing :P
Don't worry about it, Real Life is definitely way more important atm, and we'll still be here in your computer when you come back. <3
As much as I *squee* at an update from you, occasional simspiration responses will keep too. (I've loved them thus far, I've just been bad at commenting.)
Hey. Peeking in here, a little late but nevertheless. As everyone has already said, don't worry about it, real life must come first. Good luck on all you have planned, we'll be here waiting for you. ^^
