Hmm... Well, it does make sense. In doing what she did, Kimmy hurt Tom much, much more than she ever hurt Terry. His suffering for what he did already shows that he's a better person than Kimmy - he has a conscience, which she apparently lacks.
Now what I'm interested to see is whether Kimmy is able to grow one, or will she only begrudgingly keep repeating what she's told so she can get off the hook. I admit it'd be very unlike Kimmy to show remorse, but perhaps the last bit...
Great work, looking forward to seeing the conclusion of this! =)
Poor Tom, the plot didn't have much time for him after Kimmy was gone, but that didn't mean he was happy... *nods* The conscience thing is very true, but Tom's stubborn and probably wouldn't have listened to that point.
Can Kimmy grow a conscience...? *hmm* I think you can only pay so much lipservice to something before some of it starts to sink in, whether you want it to or not. But Kimmy's unlikely to change much until she /wants/ to change, and she quite likes who she is already, even if she is suffering for it... Now she's just considering the possibility that she may have misjudged things and made mistakes, which is unusual for her.
Thank you very much, you've cheered me up a lot :)
