Which comic book superheroine are you thinking of as closest to Electric Girl? Lightning Lass? Black Lightning (the daughter version, I'd presume)? Someone else I'm not thinking of?

I ask because I'm a lapsed comic book geek and have enjoyed this time down (your) memory lane.

Er, I actually still haven't read many comic books. Scott Pilgrim, Plain Janes, and Fun Home are about the extent of my experience. ;-) I just remember that when I was going on about this in college, someone broke it to me gently that it had been done.

Oh, huh, funny, I remember now that my idea for her super-hero alias was Spark -- a name chosen by the press that she actually hated. Seems I was ahead of my time, as I see now, looking up Lightning Lass, that they renamed her "Spark" in 1994.
