Funny... I mentioned the article to my mother. We both agreed that it made sense. My mother mentioned that it also made sense that we really didn't know that until much later. The fact that we meet him much later in his life. He is past that. His passion is in his school, not his old lovers. It makes perfect sense.

Yeah, it makes a lot of sense. I wanna re-read the books now, though odds I'll still put it off until summmer.

I mean, no wonder it took until the 1940's for their epic battle.

...*happy flailing*

LOL it does make sense. BUT you must note that further in the longer article (here) she makes at LEAST one error that contradicts her own writing ... so. I guess - don't take anything she says in interviews without a grain of salt?

LOL but Albus/Grinde? Yeah!

Much as I like salt, I'm not throwing it in this. This is a big thing and I trust her to know her characters. Especially with something this big.

LOL well she said that Lupin wasn't employed by the original Order, and in OotP he's most clearly on the picture that Moody shows Harry... so IDK.

The Leaky Couldron article I found says she says
"Remus Lupin, prior to the third book, was unemployable because he was a werewolf and upon his graduation from Hogwarts along with James and Lily, was supported by James using their own money. In addition to this she shed more light on the early days of the Order, saying James, Sirius, Remus and Lily were full time Order members."

What's IDK mean?

I needed to flail and share the joy. If it wasn't so late, I would probably be running all over campus giggling at people.
