I always try to see a comic book movie as an alternate universe, because I know if I'm looking for it to be true to the comic I will be disappointed. I also disliked the bit in the pub where, when asked what she was studying Raven responded "waitressing". As though she would not have gotten a first class education hanging around with Xavier while playing his sister.
Thinking about it further, I wanted development that explained how Schmit became Shaw, and when he decided to destroy the world he knew so he could rule hell.
