Having a great time at the beach! Last night, McG and I built my LEGO Hogwarts castle and drank champagne and this morning I found these two had wandered off together to the beach.
So, you go all the way to another country to play with your Legos? Have you considered -- oh, I dunno -- maybe seeing some of Mexico while you're there? :-)
Well, to be fair, it was night time and once the sun sets on a deserted Mexican beach, there's not a whole lot to see. I've also been there a million times and am not really into the "night life" in town... If I'm gonna drink/LEGO, I like to do it at home! :D
Messyco! It's a good thing you hauled off with the family to someplace warm, since I headed back to the motherland (Minnysota), where I heard yesterday... I kid you not... 'Gosh, it was 5 today. With the sun out, ya know, it felt so nice.'
You know... because the day before it was 10 below.
Ooooh 42 is HOT. I remember hanging at Bondai once and it was 41. Thought I'd die. Till I discovered that POOL. Heaven. Gosh, I miss OZ.
Will take a pic soon! It's all bubble-wrapped in the back of my car, waiting for me to chauffeur it home tomorrow morning! I also bought a blanket with Montezuma on it. He is uber handsome on it, I couldn't resist. I shall lay it on my bed and sleep right on top of him.
Yeah, it's just a little store run by this loco guy called Manny. He makes his own and adds all kind of delicious flavors and once you walk in, you kinda have to taste them all. I got a bottle for Big Dog. He likes to have drinks at the office on Fridays, so he'll be stoked.
Legos on the beach = super good way to pass the time... :D
Sounds like you had a great time. Of course they wandered off to the beach together- it’s what they do. Now I feel like you need to draw some Lego style art. Can’t you just quit your job and draw for us 24/7? Sure you’d be poor, but think of the stress relief. :). Since you keep making good story recs, I’ll do the same. Have you read At the Beach by Chivalric? It is one of my many guilty pleasures.
