Byzantine chants sound sometimes like Muslim chants, yes. Greek Orthodox chants have too this specific Oriental sound, with complicated and infinite melodies. Or if you listen to some Coptic Orthodox hymns, you'll think you're in a mosque! I was raised Catholic, so this music still sounds somehow strange to me, even if I live in an Orthodox country. But it's beautiful.

more like he said that Lebedev is not author of whole journal at all... Not sure if it is true, cause one of Lebedev's friend said me she saw him posting and commenting his journal.
