I can't take all the credit for the life-form. I'd gotten up to the Doctor shoving the snow down Jack's back and sort of stopped. Then my friend looked at me and said 'Sentient Snow'. I don't think she was expecting me to take it in quite that direction. ;)

I'm pleased you thought they were in character - I did have some moments where I worried a bit. :D
