It's hard to know where to start with this - your Wodehouse is purely wonderful, and finally Jeeves and the Doctor - we always knew they'd get on and I loved the shriek, and the room falling silent (what terribly bad form, but of course, if a chap's been having a snifter, well, obviously that's another matter entirely) - You've set the scene so well that I almost felt shocked at the thought of them kissing (not the usual reaction, as you might guess).

This was clever, well written and seriously funny and I'm going to put it in my memories right now - and thank you for writing it. It's brilliant. Gave me take-away-grin (you know, the sort that repeats regularly for at least an hour afterwards) with every chapter.

Hehe, thank you! There were quite a few moments where I thought 'Dear Lord, what am I writing? No-one's going to accept this!' So I'm very very glad that everyone seems to like it. :D

Oh, so Nine that he's completely unable to vocalise his feelings - probably can't even do it in his head. He expects Jack to know what he's thinking, of course, and is completely at a loss when Jack says he doesn't.

“Sometimes,” Jack said, “a guy just needs to know where he stands.”

I think that applies to just about everyone around the Doctor! So true.

And, yes, how I miss Nine and Rose and Jack together... :(

I figure Nine's a bit like my Dad. He doesn't fling stuff like that around willy nilly, and when he says it it's probably only a throwaway comment, but he means it.

That was a fantastic ending (and I don't use that word lightly!). Jeeves and the Doctor collaborating-- a force to be reckoned with indeed.

Can you imagine Jeeves ruling the world? Everyone would be impeccably dressed on pain of disapproving looks and no help if they got into a bit of a jam. ;)
