Terrific...I love the whole idea of the Valeyard threat hanging over the Doctor, always in the background...I loved how you wove that into 'The Satan Pit'.

I think I timed it quite badly - it appears to have been lost under all the reaction posts! ;)

I'm glad you liked the inclusion of the Valeyard. I've not seen much Old Who, but I like to try and use what little I know to try and make the story seem a bit less detached from the rest of it. :)

Brilliant! It really shows the layers of the Doctor's emotions and I think the thing about pity is true. It was almost wonder, and that's something that we've seen a lot in the tenth Doctor, whether the alien be evil or not, he sees a wonder in it.
