Icon challenge: FTWHTWD

It's time again for a little icon challenge. This time I've tried to avoid my usual style. The icons are simple and some are very colorful. Please tell me what you think.

Very hot! Especially love the backgrounds. That is something I still have to learn how to do with my photoshop program. Might have to borrow #6. Love a man with a long stick! *slaps self for that comment*

TYK!♥ Nah, don't slap yourself just because of what you think. ;) I prefer when he's holding a sword like in Highlander or other deadly long weapons. Ahem! :D

Sorry I don't know how this works with Photoshop. These are all made with Gimp.... But wait I made a tut how to do this with it and it's obviously almost the same with Photoshop. It might be of help for you.

I didn't notice that I used "colorful" backgrounds. I saw it as I uploaded them. But on the other hand, I use them all the time. o.O I'm way too long out of business.

Hahaha, that happens to me too. You make the icons, and only afterwards do you realize they kind of match stylistically.
