These guys have yet to achieve the PINK pink they're advertised for, but the peachy and coral shades they come out with are still pretty. Also included are some half-hearted hyacinths and the viola which continue to run rampant...
The daffodils you sent me are looking pretty much the same -- not quite pink, but very pretty coral. My hyacinths are delayed, though; the purple ones are just budding and the pink hasn't even started yet.
My black viola plants should be here soon! Next year, I think I may try to start them from seed. I LOVE those little things.
If you get the same black viola I did last year you shouldn't even have to buy the seeds--the ones I bought went to seed in late summer and started regrowing almost immediately. They had flowers on them before the snow melted, and have been going crazy ever since! Aside from this planter they've completely taken over one of the cauldrons, and I see them growing in at least five other pots alongside whatever else is in there. They're certainly proving to be an excellent investment :p
