I was going to post the other day, though, whilst cleaning... I wonder if I have reached the point in my life in which I must admit I have outgrown buttons. I've boxes, languishing in the splendor of their "oh! funny!" impulse purchases. Even when I had a bag, I'd only ever actually wear a choice few. (I always liked "The Virgin Mary Was an Unwed Teenage Mother," and "Guns Don't Kill People, They Just Make It Real Easy," for I liked stating the obvious in an obnoxious manner.) I couldn't commit to the bulkiness or visual over-stimulation of those jackets or bags dripping in buttons.

I do sort of think a few really snide buttons might make cute parts of frilly brooches nowadays. Hmm...

Hey! I'm in the middle of finishing up the first two chapters you sent me as we speak (or as I type, or...you get the idea). Sorry I've been so tardy about it, the past couple of weeks have been hectic, and I haven't been able to settle myself enough to give them proper attention. I'll get my comments off to you after work tomorrow, but the quick version is I love it so far! Although the first prologue is a bit of a mean cliffhanger...
