Haven't done one of these in a fair bit, but I ran across this heretofore-unseen-by-me Gainsborough painting whilst hunting up the link for Mrs. Siddons, and it felt like a far more appropriate 'final post' than the previous one :p

I love that portrait. demode_kvc is making that gown (or nearly) - if she hadn't done it first, I could have been tempted. It's fabulous!

Ooh, I've never seen this Gainsborough before either! What a fabulous dress. I'll miss your posts so much! Here's hoping you'll find a way to get back online again soon!
